Azulejo Azul

A collection begins with a point of view.

Student concept · Collection overview

Developed by Ana Julia Borges at the Fashion Institute of Technology for AR 101, Azulejo Azul is a Spring/Summer 2026 sportswear collection concept. The project connects blue-and-white tile references, a coastal palette and resort styling into one proposed collection.

01 / The story

Build a visual language.

The approach

The project moves from cultural and visual references to a palette, material choices, styled looks and technical flats. Each stage tests how a central idea can carry through different pieces.

Why it matters

The study shows how a creative direction becomes a consistent set of design decisions, from color and fabric to silhouette and styling.
